Question / Help Questions about Audio Capture

Hello,

So I've been messing around with OBS, and I've run in to a little problem with it. I use a Turtlebeach headset while I'm playing and streaming and it allows me to have 2 audio channels. So that I can hear my game and voice chat separately, but when I am streaming I can only hear the game sound and myself speak. I can't hear the others that I am speaking to in voice chat.

I use two main audio sources which are Speakers ( Turtle Beach PX22 ) which I use as my default device for game sound and such. Then I have Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) which I use for Dolby Axon (voice chat).

It seems that OBS is only capturing Speakers ( Turtle Beach PX22 ) and my microphone. Is there a way that I can capture both sources so that it doesn't sound like I am talking to myself?

Thanks.

This will be properly addressed later in time, but for the time being, there's a DirectShow audio source plugin that should allow you to capture a separate audio source, viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2579

This should allow you to have an extra channel. I would recommend using it to capture "what you hear" or "stereo mix" from your sound device, and then set OBS' desktop sound to use your headphones.

Thanks, I've installed it but haven't tested it yet.

When I select my device in the source, do I choose Output audio to stream only?
