Hello everyone,
I just have a question regarding dual PC streaming setup. I just bought a Avermedia Live Gamer HD as my capture card. And I'm gonna be using HDMI to capture my game and in game audio from the gaming PC to the capture card on my streaming PC.
Now, this is what I'm planning to do and I would like to know if this method/setup will work.
To capture the game and audio:
gaming PC from GPU HDMI port ---> Avermedia (HDMI in) streaming PC
Peripherals:
Main mic and webcam for streaming are plugged in on my streaming PC.
USB Headset is plugged in on my gaming PC. (headset mic will be using for in-game interactions.)
But I found out a little problem, If I wanted to play music on my stream, should I use my gaming PC or streaming PC? Because OBS can only use 1 Desktop audio device which I will be using the Avermedia with, if I play music on streaming PC, OBS won't capture the audio because the Desktop Audio Device is set to the Avermedia (for in-game audio.) if that makes sense.
Second problem, if I get a follower/donation notification on stream on my streaming PC, I won't hear the sound because the audio from my streaming PC is not connected to my gaming PC. Is there a fix for that problem?
Please help.
