Question / Help [question] 2 pc streaming setup

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums and I need 2 pc setup to stream my games just so it's good quality stream without fps drop on my main rig. I have read some guides on how to do it( here on forum and on reddit) but they didn't answer any of my questions. So if anyone know answer for any of these questions, please write it down there. Thanks.

-Right now I use dvi from my graphic card to my monitor. How it will work with capture card? (cause I pressume I need to buy hdmi. But if so then how do I connect it if my monitor only supports dvi?)

-can't I just connect dvi cable from the graphic card to my monitor (first PC) and then second cable from the same graphiccard to capturecard in my second PC? (and how would it work? and if not then what are my options)

-how it works? why do I need capturecard? can't I just connect second computer with a cable and do all the encoding in OBS? what is capturecard for, essentially. (I pressume it all comes to only 1 thing that OBS couldn't see the signal?)

-when having a 2pc setup with capturecard: Is it needed to copy my monitor view to second monitor just so I can record it with obs on second computer or what? or I just send the signal to capturecard and there is no need to waste 1 monitor for that? (sending signal to capturecard require to show the same view on other monitor or no?)

microphone I will just connect as I read on 1 of the guides, using 3.5mm cord.
still don't know about the sound to the second pc but that is not a problem for now as the 4 questions above are more important for me.

edit: I more question

Not to be rude, but in some cases, your English is very hard to understand...

For your first question, I would just use a converter that takes HDMI and converters it to DVI. You can find them on eBay or even at your local electronics store (BestBuy, Fry's, etc.)

Second question, you can search "How to stream with a capture card" on Google and it would explain this, and the rest of your questions.

Do a little more research and you can find all your answers within 10 minutes.

I always do research before asking, I'm looking for answers few days now and can't find them.

so you mean that I should use hdmi from my graphic card then hdmi splitter (40$ for little or no delay) then 1 end of the splitter to the recordingcard and 1 end to hdmi to dvi converter and then dvi to my monitor?

and again, I really spend time on this but I can only spend much, can't do it forever.

Well, the first question you want to ask yourself, is why do you want to do a 2-PC setup? You aren't going to gain much frames by doing a 2-PC setup (this is what most people are saying). The only reason you'd want to do that 2-PC setup is if the game you are trying to capture, or window cannot be captured directly through OBS.

Or maybe your gaming PC isn't powerful enough to stream and you need another PC to fill that gap and eliminate lag, but at that point I would suggest upgrading your PC rather than making another PC. That would be the cheaper option.

As for the setup, this image is a pretty good example of how it'd be set up:

As for the, HDMI to DVI, I was thinking more on the lines of this HDMI to DVI (Click text). As far as that being less effective than an actual converter that has it's own power source, this might be slower (or a little less quality), but not by much.

Sorry for not being clear enough. I need 2 pc setup so I don't lose any frames in games when playing and streaming. Second pc to have double cpu power so second one doing all encoding.

as for how to connect stuff I know most of the things cause the guides, but answers for some of my questions I just didn't find.

so again, after transfering signal from gaming PC to capturecard(streaming PC) - can I just detect the card in obs and there I go? or is it needed to copy the monitor screen view to streaming pc monitor so then I can capture whole monitor screen with obs?

my planned streaming rig:

i5 3570@3.7GHz or 3.8GHz (if possible cause it's not K version..)
1HDD
cheap case
8gb 1333GHz 3ddr ram
cheap mobo H61DE/S3
XFX Core TS 430W

planned gaming rig:

i7-4790K@ if possible 4.8GHz
palit gtx970
mobo to support all of this
1HDD
8gb 1333GHz 3ddr ram or 1666GHz
case
XFX650w black edition

still don't know which capturecard I should buy, but that I will figure out.

TL;DR just 1 question :
after transfering signal from gaming PC to capturecard(streaming PC) - can I just detect the card in obs and there I go? or is it needed to copy the monitor screen view to streaming pc monitor so then I can capture whole monitor screen with obs?

There is a "Add Video Capture Device" source selection in OBS, I recommend adding it as a Global Source.
The device should show up in your streaming PC when you connect the capture card to it.

That's all I can help you with.

Its depend on wich card u use.

I have the extreme cap u3 from avermedia. Its an USB 3.0 Card. U plug the cards USB in the Streaming rig. Then, u go from the GPU in ur gaming rig per HDMI in the avermedia. So, u need DVI and HDMI on ur GPU. Or two or more DVI and one DVI to HDMI Adapter. On ur gaming rig u clone ur primary Display and Thats it. In obs on the streaming rig, u Can add the card as a Source. The only thing is to brings up the Audio from the gaming rig to the Streaming rig. I use a behringer xenyth mixer for that. If u have to soundcards with spdif INPUT, u Can use this cards to Transfer the Audio. Another way is a Programm called Acustic Bridge from Stardock. You can test it for 30 Days. It Transfer all Audio from a to b, over LAN. The Fullversion cost about 10$

Internal cap cards have HDMI too.
