Oh cause like I said my settings are the same as my friends and his is so smooth but should I try putting my bitrate up? what would you recommend?

That looks pretty much the same to me in terms of quality. I think you're being too hard on your own stream.

It just seems his runs a lot smoother and you can tell it's 60fps I don't think the quality is as good if you watch up till he is playing it still looks good and when I start playing the quality gets worse. I'm just a perfectionist and if I'm going to stream I want people to watch in the best quality they can.

Well, I see no dropped or late frames, so as far as I can tell, it's outputting at 60fps just fine. Then again, that is a log from only a 9 second stream, so perhaps you got the wrong log.

I also notice that your Scene buffering time is only 60, that should be changed to 700ms (in advanced settings) though I would be surprised if that affected anything.

That seems more like it, though it's still not showing and dropped/late frames. The audio error spam is because the scene buffer time is set to 60, like I mentioned above, and it should be set to 700ms.

Is the device itself not set to 60fps? Open the device properties (like you did when enabling the Use Buffering checkbox) and make sure 59.94 is selected for the FPS.

Well, I'm not sure...Elgato settings aren't really configurable within OBS due to Elgato driver weirdness. Does it say 29.97 right now? If you enable Custom resolution, is there a 59.94 option in the dropdown?

Typing in the number probably won't work. If it says 30, then it's probably what the Elgato thinks is being input into it. Are you sure the game is outputting at 60fps, and can you confirm that the Elgato program is detecting 60fps?

I can't confirm that the elgato detects 60 dps but when I stream it says on obs it's 60fps so I don't know

OBS will say it's streaming at 60fps, but it sounds like the Elgato is putting a 30fps video into your 60fps stream, so the problem lies somewhere either in your game (if it's outputting at 30fps) or the Elgato. Try seeing what happens in the Elgato program instead.

I've been using the obs software to stream most of the time but idk how to change it to 60 fps or even tell what it's in

With an elgato Gamecapture HD it seems that in order to capture at 60 fps your source must be 720p as well. I set my Xbox One to output at 720p in this video.Start from the Device selection that Dodge showed you in post 11, then from configure you can see elgato's spacific panel. Once there you can verify that it is running at 1280 x 720 59.94 fps. If it is not showing that make sure you are outputting to the elgato at 720 and that in the panel you have the profile set at HD720 and preserve source format checked (when I didnt have it checked it kept dropping to 30 again). http://youtu.be/P0gzUM31EfQ

Ok I'll try to do what the vid did but how can I fix my quality problem? For people to be able to watch me it has to be from 1700-2000bitrate since I don't have a quality button.
