I've seen some people post the same thing... but no one seems to know what's going on.

What should I do?

I'm on G3258 (4.5Ghz), 8GB ddr3-2133 RAM
r9 270 for gpu.

If need more info please let me know!

I've done all the set-ups correctly (as far as I know..) following the guide from LinusTechTips

Is that an older CPU? It says it only has two cores and I've never seen that model before. I probably wouldn't attempt 1080p on it if so.

G3258 is relatively new release-- Pentium "unlocked" processer. Also known as pentium-K.

I managed to fix it, with a reply from another thread on this forum on same "QSVhelper.exe killed" topic-- it is fault with the September (more specifically, late August release of the IRIS Intel HD Graphics Driver -> site: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24245&lang=eng&ProdId=3720 ). I had to downgrade mine to one from May and it is working like a charm now. 1080p best quality QuickSync and 0 problem.

If you could, try to see why the newest driver from intel is causing this problem. Thanks for the reply! :)
