PTZ NDI Camera not showing as a source in Sources

The camera and OBS are on the same IP address, but OBS does not show the PTZ as a source when I add a Video Capture Device. OBS is up to date as well as PTZ. They should be communicating with each other, but are not. Please help

Hello brimstone91: If your camera is a "PTZ NDI camera not showing up as a source in Sources", I would expect it to be under Sources/NDI Source rather than Video Capture Device.

If you enter the camera IP address in a browser, are you seeing the camera interface, or in the NDI Studio Monitor?

I hope this helps. . .

OBS doesn't give NDI Source as an option under Sources. I thought of that too and was surprised not to find it. Yes, I have the camera feed through the PTZ Local website. I have full control of the camera through that, but I cannot link the 2 together (OBS & PTZ)

Hi brimstone91: The NDI app/software is NDI Tools, with various connectivity and control utility functions, and it would be useful to install. But to connect your cameras to OBS, the OBS/NDI plugin is essential.

I hope this helps. . .
