First things first.

1. My computer is extremely more than capable of doing this. i7 3.5ghz quad, 2gb nivida geforce 760. 16gb ram

2. No logs cause I don't have time to fool with that

3. All cables are correctly hooked in, and power is hooked to everything.

4. My set up, Ps4, elgato, 55in 60fps 1080p tv, I swap inputs for my computer and ps4. (i've done this for ps3 works just fine) 1080p webcam, and turtle beach headset.

The problem. Pictures of my current settings have been uploaded, and I request pictures of your settings. Currently, I get "one moment please" From elgato's services. And if I leave elgato to go to obs with my set up then it says "one moment please" shortly after it will freeze and crash.

I want to record at 1080p at 60fps.

Pre-text: Before I tried filming a game, I set up 1,300 buffer and synced everything over the ps4 start up menu. I was recording the start up menu just fine. Then I tried playing a game and got a black screen for a long period of time. Checked some guides got that fixed. Had picture for a few seconds, then crash, come back, "one moment please" problem.

Hoping someone can give me a step by step guide about how to set up a ps4 with elgato and obs. Thanks!

Also, trying to stop preview causes it to (not responding) for a long while then it goes to normally stopped, doing it a second time lasts longer till a crash. Opening either elgato software or obs requires me to restart the computer in order to swap between the two. Because they won't close normally, Or end task in task manager won't close either.

Recording games on my pc, OR ps3, does just fine...And yes the setting for HDwhatever in the ps4 is NOT enabled...

1. If you don't have time to post a log file your chances of being helped are severely reduced. You had time to take and post like 15 pictures, a log file is just a link that's created automatically for you by OBS. Bad start.

2. This is the OBS support forum. If your Elgato isn't working with its own software you should probably contact Elgato support before trying to get it to work with third-party software.

3. The Game Capture HD doesn't output 1080p60, that would be the Game Capture HD60.
