I actually don't know for sure, all I know is that my image conversion function (which seems to be causing that massive frame lag on these particular CPUs) needs fixing. You could try it I suppose as a temporary means; please let me know of your results if you do. Would be very interested to see if it actually did affect the app when turned off.
ah, okay. I actually don't know if it's the CPU or GPU -- either way, I'm going to try to fix it both CPU and GPU wise, as both could use some work -- but it's just so weird because on my setup, and on both my video cards, the Preprocess() part of the profiler always runs at like 5ms tops with my C985.

good news -- I located the bottleneck and it should be fixed in the next version. this was due to improper optimization on my part. I'm also threading the particular function - the next version these issues should be far far less if not completely gone.
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=175 - could you guys try this version out? (unless by the time you read this, it's already fully released, then just download the latest version) -- should fix your problems.

is the frames per second in your source properties set to your desired fps? thats usually where i had problems
