Question / Help Profiles don't change?

I've tried a few things, but every time I change anything on OBS the setting don't save. Well setting under the setting tab do, but whenever I try to make a new scene or anything and then save and reopen it just reverts. I don't have a clue why the profiles don't save. I've tried reinstalling and that doesn't work. Where are these profiles being saved? I reinstall and it remembers the old profiles I've had.

Scenes and sources are not part of a profile.

Oh ok. So how do I save that info before I close the program. I make new scenes and sources and they don't get saved. I've even tried new profiles.

So OBS is completely empty every time you run it?

Have you tried running OBS as administrator?

Could to check to see if your %appdata%\OBS folder is set to read-only?

I have tried running it in administrator. That didn't seem to work. I checked my OBS folder and its in Read-only. I have tried a million things to get it out of read-only nothing seems to work. Any Ideas?

If your OBS folder is set to Read Only, that is the problem. It should not be Read Only, because that's where OBS saves its settings.

Yeah I figured. Any tips on how to fix that? I have tried a few things to change it, but everytime I change it and apply it just goes back once I reopen it.

Make it not read-only. Uncheck the read-only box.
