Question / Help Problems with Window Capture

I need help as well. Up until tonight I have had no problems, but now I can not get OBS to stop displaying the preference windows even when they are closed? Any help?

The OBS application has been successfully capturing the correct streaming video and audio input. However 2 days ago it stopped capturing the video input and is only capturing the audio input. When I replay I see that OBS has captured a screen shot of my desktop and that remains the only video that is visible. The audio is OK. Have I changed a setting or something ?
