Question / Help Problems With Window Capture ....

When i am trying to sream with window capture with my hdpvr 2 with the program happuage capture and i get the sub region selected and the screen region on haapuage capture , and when i drag it under the task bar it makes my stream go funny it brings up loads of flickery pics on the task bar at the bottom. so i cant stream until i get this fixed please help ?

I don't believe the image gets rendered if it's offscreen, so it has to be fully on the monitor for it to be captured properly. If you're worried about screen real estate, use Window capture with Aero enabled and then you can put other windows on top of it.

When i have aero enabled i cant seem to capture any of the gameplay on my hdpvr it appers to be a blackscreen?

Well, like I said, when you drag the Hauppage window off screen, the parts that are off screen stop rendering, so there's nothing to window capture. So you can't have it offscreen while trying to window/monitor capture it.

So what you want to do is not possible. If you really need the screen real estate, then you'll need to get a second monitor.

If you watch the video window capture does not work when the hauppage window is one the screen ?

The video shows window capture working if Aero is off, so yes, it is working. The video being output by the Hauppauge program must be bypassing the DWM so you can't capture it with Aero enabled.
