Question / Help Problems with recording or streaming with new xcapture-1

Mario Kart 8? If so, it is possible that it's too high motion and causes too many scene cuts (any huge ink blackout effects, etc going on?) for a consumer level processor to handle it on fast.

Does the game actually render at 60 frames per second? If not, you might be able to get away with fast and 30 fps.

Sorry, but I don't know why you keep getting frames skipped due to encoder lag, especially not if you've tried with veryfast. Do you have a lot of other processes running on your laptop that are using a lot of CPU while you're trying to stream?

Honestly I need to double check.. I find it odd that I cannot stream at fast or very fast.. I feel like this laptop is comparable to other streamers whom are able to stream in 720/60.. I don't really think anything else was running.. But I'm assuming an i7 4700HQ should beable to stream with no problems..

I just want to add that this is a new Lenovo y50.. So maybe there are problems with trying to stream from Lenovo laptops?

I'm sorry, I don't know of any issue with specific models of laptops, I don't have a laptop myself. Judging by your laptop processor's Passmark score, you should be able to handle 720p60 on veryfast just fine, which is why I was wondering if there was anything else using up a lot of CPU.
