Question / Help Problems with OBS recording files or editing software

I've been doing some recording OBS, which up until now has worked really well.

However, since 11/3, I can watch the files just fine in VLC, but I can't seem to edit them in Soundbooth, Premiere Pro, Hitfilm, or After Effects anymore. I've been cutting together footage and audio from OBS files for over a month without issue, and now even my older files refuse to work. I have to believe that the problem lies with my editing software but it hasn't been updated in a long, long time.

I've been recording files as .mp4 which should be editable in Adobe programs, and I've used them in Hitfilm previously as well. When I try to import the files into Soundbooth (I just want an audio track off the file sometimes), the wave from shows empty, and when I import the footage into video editors, it's either blank or causes an error I'd never seen before.

I'm not sure here but when you say you can't even edit old files whitch were editable before. I think the problem should be with the editing software. Check it for updates first or see is some one has a simular problem.
If you can't find a awnser there i hope some one here knows the issue. Greetz Locodii

I checked for updates. Soundbooth was discontinued a while back, and my search for updates didn't return any results. I assumed it had something to do with my editing software, but the fact that none of them, even programs from different developers can't open them? That makes things dubious.
