I've been having peculiar microphone problems for a while and I haven't found a solution to it yet. Basically, at default, my microphone volume is way too low and none of the viewers can barely hear it. I have the option, to just max out the volume or use the mic/aux boost option but if I do so, it creates a stutter on the audio whenever i speak. It might be from background noises, I'm not sure. I could use the Noise Gate to maybe fix that, but here's another problem. On that volume bar that fills up whenever someone speaks, it barely fills up when I speak. It'll be sitting at a constant 50% of the bar and when I speak, it fills up to 55%. That shouldn't be happening and it's showing something is wrong with my mic.
To make sure it isn't just my mic's fault, I've tested on other programs like Mumble and even Steam and they work perfectly there, so it's just OBS that's having issues. Also, I didn't have this issue a while back. My mic's audio was perfectly fine, then recently this started happening. A solution to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
