Question / Help Problems with audio

i use to have music being played on my stream but for some reason it simply stopped working i cant figure out the issue in theory everything is set correctly but its not playing the audio on my computer. its picking up my mic but not any music i play on my computer. ive tried every combination of audio devices and sound options but i can not seem to get things to work. would really love some help please.

You can look at the setup guides on these forums and the main OBS web site. Or post some specifics about how you've got it set up, what you've tried, and what didn't work. An OBS log file from the best setup you can manage would help too.

i got the audio set up with headphones and can hear sounds in my headphones. and like i said before it worked perfectly fine before and i have changed nothing but it simply decided to stop working. Here is a link to the log https://gist.github.com/f356746bb3d433c5fad9

Set your webcam's audio device to disabled.
You're capturing it twice.

Have you double-checked your sound device to make sure it matches what you have set in windows' control panel?

i have the headphones set as my default device. the only other device is my speakers.

is there a way i can IM you harold or skype call or something i really appreciate the help. But i think it would be alot more if we could communicate quicker and find my problem quicker. not to mention screen sharing on skype.
