Question / Help problems with audio playback when streaming - distortion, clicking sounds

whenever I start streaming ,the audio ends up being very distorted, it clicks at a constant rate and the audio jumps like if it isn't able to catch up with the stream. Here's a sample where I play some music. http://www.twitch.tv/thescapemine/b/677018043
For me the sound isn't changing at all, but for the viewers it's very glichy. I've tried changing video rosolution, bitrate for audio and video. webcam doesn't cause the problem(I've heard that for some its a problem). I don't think that the bitrate is a problem, my internet speed is fast enough. Hope to get an answer, I really want to stream :(

First: we need a log.
Second: this usually happens when the latency is too low for the soundcard (at least in a professional use with low latency driver). Try to change the driver, update it (!) and then try some settings like changing the sample rate etc.

You are welcome. Audio drivers are usually just pure crap, they get updates once a year for a new board and no updates for an older board and most people forget them. Its fine until you start working with this really old junk called onboard audio driver xD
Sadly this problem is also present in the professional audio market, leaving really great hardware useless due to lack of drivers.
