Question / Help Problems streaming iRacing

I've got my Twitch stream working using OBS and XSplit, but, in either case, their are a number of problems.


1. My PC stutters while streaming, even though I have FPS of 180

2. The stream is laggy and also stutters

3. The stream picture quality sucks

Is there a reason you're not using game capture?

The tutorial I followed to set it up told me not to use it.

Just tried game capture and it didn't work at all. Just a black screen in preview. Tried a stream and got nothing.

It may need anti-cheat compatibility hooking enabled.

I figured out how to enable it. No stuttering for me, but results didn't look great: http://www.twitch.tv/tdyrsmid/v/32901903

Seems to me the picture quality should be quite a bit better....with a smoother frame rate.

Not really. Twitch's restrictions on bitrate mean that you can only get so much quality.

is Youtube live any better?

For bitrate limits, yes. But it's not without its own problems (contentid most notably)
