Question / Help Problems playing sounds when switching scenes

Hi

Seems to be some issues with playing media sources (mp3 clips) when switching scenes?

What I'm trying to do is to have OBS play a sound every time I switch the scene.
I've added different sounds as 'Media Source' in every scene and tapped each one of those to "be played when scene becomes active" and "not to loop" - so, everything should be setup and done.

However, I hear the sound in my stream only once when I switch the scene. All the other switches it doesn't play it in the stream, even though is shows activity in the volume bar in OBS... So something is happening and it seems to try playing it but it's muted.

If I deactivate the clip (media source) and activate it again, then I can hear it in the stream, but as soon as I start switching scenes again there is only mute activity.

Any ideas? or is this a bug? Another thing is also that I can't hear it in my headphones, only in the stream for some reason. There is no option available 'where to output the sound' in Media Source properties.

I saw this thread about Media Source audio problems, so it seems to be a "feature" that I can't hear sounds on Desktop.
However that is not my main problem, the issue is still that I can only hear this audio clip Once in the stream. Is that a bug?
Volume bars keeps jumping but there is no sound at all.

Pikes i understand your problem because now i had the same doubt. The solution is make a different media source with the same mp3 in each scene.
Example:
Escene 1) = Mediaplayer1 = audio.mp3
Escene 2) = Mediaplayer2 = audio.mp3

I've tried the solution listed most recently, but it hasn't worked for me.
Audio randomly plays, sometimes fully sometimes cutting out. I can HEAR it cutting when I switch scenes and now when I try deleting and reloading the file completely it doesn't work at all.
