Question / Help Problems finding Blackmagic ProRecorder H.264

Hey all, just downloaded OBS and I'm starting to mess about with it. Looking to use it to replace Blackmagic Media Express. I am having an issue in that OBS won't "See" the Blackmagic device when I add a source. Blackmagic Device is listed, but when I add it the device dropdown menu is empty... Any ideas? What am I doing wrong?
Media express still works fine, its just OBS...

"BlackMagic Device" is for Decklink cards.

For other devices, use Video Capture.

I’m using the pro recorder h.264...

I tried using the video capture but it only shows my webcam

Have you installed the BlackMagic drivers?

If so, does that device show as a camera option in other applications, like QuickTime Player or FaceTime?

OBS should be able to see any standard video class USB device if the proper drivers are installed.

If you're on Mojave or above it may be a security permissions issue.
