Hello!
I am trying to use OBS to record and stream hangouts that I do on Google Hangouts.
Usually in a Hangout, the main video screen will show the video feed of the person talking. When I am talking, it will show my video. Everyone's videos are shown at all times on the bottom of the screen as small avatars.
However, when I use the OBS software to record or stream the Hangout, Google Hangouts no longer shows me my video when I'm talking. So, since the recording is from my point of view, when I talk, instead of seeing me on the main screen, you see another random person in the screen.
Does anyone know of a way to solve this problem? I don't need OBS accessing or interfering with my webcam at all; I want it to just screen capture the hangout screen. I have the source in OBS as a "Window Catcher". I also would like for it to not interfere with the normal functioning of Google Hangouts.
