Hi there.

I am using a logitech webcam c905, and first of all i must say i do love your product. Amazing stuff. But i recorded a 30 min session of Dark Souls. And in the end the audio was out of sync with the video all most a second or more. The audio came first and video later followed, making it look quite silly.

Any idea how could i fix this problem?

Not the whole video. the audio skips on the video from the webcam.

I dont know what log to post so il just post the last 3 ones.

But i did a little sample. with the latest beta version and the audio/video sync seemed to be better.

Do I maybe have to use another program or can i modify something in the settings?

Hmm, I did a 43 minute video right now. and it started out fine, the gameplay + webcam video was al synced, but towards the end. It just went out of sync massivley. The Gameplay and webcam video seemed to be Ok. ,But the audio was quite ahead, it seemed in the end like an old asian action movie, where the guy was dubbed over, the audio stops but his lips are still moving

I also added the latest log for you.

Maybe Is there like a second program you would suggest me to use that would magically fix the audio? :). I would love too get this program fixed tho, for it is really user-friendly and i would love to use it and promote it to my friends. But for that i would need it to work, or Just to know what to do, when this occurs . :)

Also, note the message in the log:
Syncing audio to video time (WARNING: you should not be doing this if you are just having webcam desync, that's a separate issue)

Seems you had set that option in advanced, which isn't always guaranteed to work properly.

Anyway, the best way to sync your webcam to your mic is to disable the mic in audio settings, and use the mic through the webcam source directly, and turn on "use buffering" in the source (at 0). By doing that it will ensure sync.

So settings should look like this right?

I am going to try recording tomorrow, for it is all ready 03.03 in my country. but I´ve added the picture using my amazing paint skills

Everything seems to be in order now.

I do have a question now from recording. Like if i record on 60FPS and later watch it seems a bit laggy. But ive heard that Youtube does not even allow over 30FPS videos there. Soo Should i just like record only in 30fps or maybe like in 45 FPS for a good quality? . Or is it all pointless and i should just go with 30FPS all the time?

AND Thank you for your help so far Jim!

Youtube's cap is in fact 30 FPS so if you only plan to put it on Youtube you can safely stay at 30 FPS without losing anything.

Soo If i will record it in 60fps It still would look like 30 fps on youtube and not as smooth? Like overall quality is the same when recording from 60fps to YT 30fps - as is 30fps recording to YT 30fps? If you understand what i mean. I have a wide monitor 1920x1080. So this would have zero effect?
