Problem stopping recording

Hey since i updated to the newest patch i have been having a ton of issues with obs. Half of the times when i use my stop recording key it wont stop but hangs on stopping, sometimes it helps to press stop with my mouse but most often it just hangs untill i force the program to stop and i have lost my recording. I just tried recording a video and it did that again got stuck but i could get it to stop by pressing the stop button with my mouse, but the last 10 minutes or so of the video was a black screen. I have tried reverting to what i think is my previous version of OBS. but it did the same thing again. Then i tried yesterday to completely remove OBS and reinstall the newest patch and yup did it again. The settings are exactly the same as before i updated in the first place, but no luck sadly.
I have posted two reports from today not entirely sure which one is from the recording that became black in the end.
There are no crash reports

Just checked it created both reports in the same recording.

Nah just tried to record a video today and it is still happening. I thought when i posted that it might have been due to it being super hot but that was not the cause

Imagine if we had some sort of indication that we are recording without having a second monitor that would be neat

thanks i will have a tinker with it. Seems like i may have fixed the recording problem hopefully

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same problem.

Think changing from H264 to HEVC did the trick for me. Just recorded two 1 hour videos and both works
