Question / Help Problem running OBS

When I try to preview the stream on obs, this error message occurs:

OBS has encountered an unhandled exception and has terminated. If you are able to
reproduce this crash, please submit this crash report on the forums at
http://www.obsproject.com/ - include the contents of this crash log and the
minidump .dmp file (if available) as well as your regular OBS log files and
a description of what you were doing at the time of the crash.

This crash appears to have occured in the 'd:\program files (x86)\obs\plugins\dshowplugin.dll' module.

Someone suggested deleting the file with the problem to see if it then works but then I get this error message:

I have already attempted reinstalling OBS many times as well as restarting my computer etc. and still nothing works.
