Hi guys,
So this has happened to a handful of games now, most recently Silent Hill 2.
When I boot the game up to play, I see the game fine. It's full-screen, and there are no issues. But when run through Monitor Capture I notice in playback that it actually shrinks the game itself to a portion of the screen (whatever its resolution is) and then leaves the rest of the screen flickering/strobing between black and the desktop. It's rather horrible.
Does anyone know why/how this happens?
The game is running at a max-res of 1280x1024, while OBS is streaming at 1080 downscaled to 720.
Could it be an aspect ration problem? I know it's 5:4 at that rest, but I don't think it offers any widescreen resolution options.
Anyway, please do let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!
