Question / Help Preview Stream Working but Live stream not working

Ive looked around and I couldn't find anyone that had the same problem as myself.

I'm currently running Obs on a Toshiba Notebook: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @2.00 Ghz, 8gb Ram, 64 bit system. Windows 7 Home Premium.

The issue is when ever I set Obs to live stream to Twitch via numerous settings such as on youtube, the problem is when I press start stream it doesnt show the kb/s in the green box on the bottom right hand corner. Although its the opposite when I do a preview test stream it shows that its streaming.

The aim is to stream from the Runescape game Client to Twitch. I've tried numerous times and fiddled around with the settings to try and get it to work, uninstalled and removed the program and reinstalled it, it has not fixed the problem. Download Speed: 7mb/s, Upload Speed: 0.70 mb/s, Running it on Ethernet cable.

You can't reach the server you've selected. Pick another ingest server.

Also, just as a side note, 500kbps isn't going to be anywhere NEAR enough for 1092x614@30fps. Hell, that's barely enough for a 240p stream.

yeah sad to say... but this kind of uploadspeed will not really do the work :(

I understand but does anyone have an idea why it wont stream live?
The quality doesn't concern me at this point in time, thanks for pointing it out tho!.

Try a variety of different servers, or check to make sure your firewall isn't blocking things, then report back.

Resolved the issue thanks! The location of the servers was fine, it was that I didn't allow request for OBS to run from my firewall as it didn't pop up in the first place. So far its working, thanks for the assistance all.
