Question / Help PREVENT Plus Sign From Appearing on OBS Screencast

Help...
I am using an HP Elitebook tablet to record screencasts. How do I prevent OBS from displaying a Big Plus sign whenever I push down on the screen using the pen? Everything work great - except when I use a Microsoft product to display information... As I touch the screen with the pen, OBS records a plus sign instead of a dot. I have included a screenshot of the issue. I tried using CamStudio - but the plus sign is displayed on that program as well.
Any help, would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried disabling "capture mouse cursor" when adding the source ?

Yes I have - I would like to record the dot that the pen displays on the screen (not the plus sign).
I would like the audience to see the dot as it is writing information.

No. What I see on my screen is not what OBS records.
I attached a pic of what I see on my screen.
Once I view the recorded file, that white dot is replaced with a big plus sign.

I see, does this also happen when you do "window capture" with windows Aero turned on ?

Yup it happens with aero on and off, in window capture and monitor capture.
gaming capture gives black screen - i think it is a bug with OBS and windows office suite.
