PPT not showing cursor

Here's the thing... Earlier, when I used to record PPTs using OBS, the recording would show a plus cursor over my pen, which was helpful for students to understand where my pen was and what I was explaining. However, after switching to a new laptop and starting to record, that plus sign stopped appearing, and now it's just a point cursor that shows after recording. How can I get back the cursor I used to have? I'm attaching both images for reference.
