Question / Help Possible to send mic audio to the stream but not to the local recording?

I'm going to test out streaming speedruns to Twitch soon and would like to be able to speak to anybody that may join the stream, but prefer if the local recording of my runs, if any are successful, do not have my voice captured and just the game audio for uploads to YouTube later. Is this possible?

Also to note is that the source being captured is a PC game running along with OBS.

I believe multi-track recording like you want is slated for inclusion in the OBS MP rewrite. No idea if it's in yet; MP isn't at feature-parity with Classic, and is missing a lot of polishing elements.

On Classic, no, this isn't possible.

Ah, I see on the home page it mentions those features are not yet released. Hmm, well, thanks for the answer.

I was just experimenting with using Shadowplay and it actually seems to be a good solution for the local recording. I might just run OBS for the streaming and keep Shadowplay for local which may do nicely for this sort of setup so at least I have a workaround.

Yep, one of the only things Shadowplay is really useful for, given its quality issues at low bitrates. :)
