Poor quality picture when sharing window through OBS Virtualcam 2.0.5 (newbie)

Hello everyone. I'm Gerardo and I'm a newbie. I'm using OBS Studio 25.0.8, OBS Virtualcam 2.0.5, in an Acer Aspire V5-171 laptop, with 64-bit Windows 8.1 and 8 RAM memory.

I made a test sharing a window showing a PDF file with images through Skype, as if it were my webcam (OBS Virtualcam), and watched it using a second Skype account on the same computer. The images from the PDF file shown through Skype had very poor quality. What can be the reason? Is there something I can do to improve the picture quality?

I installed OBS Studio and Virtualcam solely to be able to show a Window from my computer were my webcam feed is usually shown, through Skype. That instead of sharing my screen on the video conferencing the traditional way.

I forgot to mention that I connect to the Internet using WiFi having an upload and download speed of around 80 Mbps.

Also a newbie. Having the same problem - with OBS broadcast to Zoom. (Found a few threads from March/April, but if there's a solution there I didn't manage to recognize it.) I'd love to use OBS to Zoom for teaching - but it's not going to work if documents and slides are blurry.

Bug Report - OBS Virtual Cam output is blury and pixelish

Hi! First of all, thx for your effort, much appriciated! :) I found a similiar post a view month ago but obviously nothing changed since then. I am using windows 10 64bit. No matter what App or Webapp I use - from Zoom, over Jitsi to Microsoft Teams - the output of OBS Virtual Cam gets somehow...

I am experiencing the same problem. It took me a look time to figure out how to connect OBS to Zoom and now this. Frustrating to say the least...
