So i recently started recording my streams, just because i want to start youtube and thought this would be a good test. But my recordings arent smooth looking like others. Like it kinda looks slightly choppy, it bothers me, i have it in 60 fps 1080p my pc has plenty of power to handle it as well. I will link the youtube video and link my logs.

Specs:
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF 3.40 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) DDR5
GPU RTX 4070

You're close, not too much needing attention.

You may need to disable HAGS.

Bad overlay, fix or remove it.

Im just gonna reply to it as if u were asking me to change these settings, 1. why would i change b-frames to 0? i was shown and told 2, fullress>qress doesnt that mean quarter resolution? so wont it look worse?

HAGS - Windows Graphics settings.

B Frames are the lowest quality frame type better used when encoding CBR when bits need to be saved. Your recording will look better without them.

Qres is the correct setting for real time encoding.

So just to confirm
Turn OFF hags
Set b frames for recording to 0
Change multi pass mode from full resolution to quarter res

Should I also turn quarter resolution on for streaming?

As well as, wouldn’t turning HAGS off effect in game fps? I thought it was good

Not that I'm aware of but know it can cause issues with OBS so it's always disabled on my rig.

Yes on the qres for your out going stream.
thank you so much for all your help, I’m sorry for the trouble, to confirm though
- Turn HAGS off
- Set max b frames for recording to 0
- Set multi pass mode to qres for stream and recording
And this will make it look smoother and good quality for both recording and streaming

The log is incomplete.

There was no audio buffering in the 1st log but now you're streaming too. Could be some system overload going on or your audio driver might need need an update. Hard to say for sure but it's your Desktop audio that's lagging. Mic is not lagging but you're using lots of filters, might be a good idea to disable them while you are testing.

23:34:23.665: Max audio buffering reached!
23:34:23.665: adding 917 milliseconds of audio buffering, total audio buffering is now 960 milliseconds (source: Desktop Audio)
23:34:23.665:
23:34:23.687: Source Desktop Audio audio is lagging (over by 165413.50 ms) at max audio buffering. Restarting source audio.

Java Script/Overlay error has not been addressed

Your 4070 has a single NVENC chip, if you notice any encoding lag using Preset P5 when recording & streaming. Use faster Presets.

I can’t disable my filters as my mic is bad lol, so there’s nothing I can do to fix max audio buffering? Also I did everything to fix channel points not working and it won’t fix.

You need to test without them. They're not free/have a cost. Could be causing issues if not used correctly.

You can check for audio driver updates on the support page for your motherboard. If the available driver is newer than the installed driver, it will more than likely perform better.

Is max audio buffering a big problem? i dont see it causing any issues, audio is fine, my cpu usage is never high, what could be causing it? can i just leave it alone? or should i go through my filters? idk why it would be my filters tho, as its my desktop audio not my mic audio

Yes, sync issues should be dealt with & eliminated. Only you can take the next steps needed to fix it.

Test without Filters
Update Audio Driver
Optimize media files for streaming
