Hi, I suck at computers, so please, no extremely long detailed answers. I just downloaded OBS as I heard it's the best program to record games (for youtube, later), I have tried Hypercam but it wasn't good. I just tried to capture some sessions of Fifa 14, but I do get some lag here and there. Is there a way to make it totally lag free? I tried to set the FPs to 60 but that gives me stuttering every few secs. I'm on Win 8 btw. I run these settings:

Res: 1280 x 1024

Quality Balance: 8

Max bitrate: 10K
Buffer size: 10k

FPS: 30

It's good but it's not totally smooth. Is there any way I can get higher fps?

Thanks a lot!

Your CPU is pretty underpowered. Try downscaling the resolution by at least 1.5x, or 2x. Or try changing the x264 preset to superfast or veryfast.
