Question / Help please help elgato not working with obs

screen stays at one moment please which is weird because i can record gameplay just fine

Could you please re-install the Game Capture HD software. See if that solves the issue.

seems like the only way it to get it to work is to shutdown obs and my console then turn my console back on and start the stream from there if i stop it and try to resume streaming it will not work which is ridiculous because what if i get disconnected from the streaming server? I would have to redo everything
