Currently I’m using the PS3 Eye camera with OBS x32 (drivers don’t support 64-bit apps). But while it is very fluid at 480p60, the colors, brightness and sharpness are a bit lacking.
PS4 Camera is said to be much better (820p60), however I don’t have a PS4 and don’t want to waste 25-50€ buying this only to find out it doesn’t work in OBS (old version or multi-plat).
Has anyone successfully used PS4cam with OBS?
Or, does anyone know whether these libUSB drivers will be enough for OBS to access the camera? I thought that they’d have to support DirectShow, but it doesn’t say anything about that there: https://github.com/bigboss-ps3dev/PS4EYECam/
