Hello togehter!

I'm a fan from Open Broadcaster! Thanks for this great software. The only problem I have is, that I can't play my recorded-MP4-Files with my Quicktime-Player Pro on Windows and Quicktime player Pro on MAC... I'd like to replace the audio-track in the mp4 file with quicktime and will edit the mp4-file with these tool, but wheter I open the video with the quicktime player it's everytime a black screen - only the sound is working. With VLC oder Windows Media Player is no problem... Does I have to use some special Advanced-Settings? Here are the media-information from my recorded MP4-File:

Make sure you enable CFR. It looks your player isn't capable of dealing with VFR very well.

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot that commas are used as decimal separators in some European countries, and the frame rate is CFR 25fps.

Is recording to FLV an option ?

Yes, that's an option... How It's possible to record in format .flv? Sry, i don't find this setting...

Now I went to a old MAC with an other quicktime pro version. There it isn't a problem to play the video. CFR is enabled...

Greetings

Change the filename setting in OBS from .mp4 to .flv.

Also, could you download the 0.542 binaries and see if they cause the same problem with MP4 output? (AAC and CFR need to be used)
