Question / Help Pixelation Problems when i Record with Elgato HD

I have tried every setting change possible to make the recording come out in good quality. The only issue i have is when i move it started to get pixelated, if i just walk 3 steps it gets pixelated. PLEASE HELP. My pc is good enough to handle it and my upload speed is 10 mbps and if not that higher. i dont know what to do
 
i have tried this before and it didnt change but ill try it again and see what happens. Also im using an elgato with obs in case you didnt know
 
yea it was 10 times worse i dont think its considered a local recording when im using an elgato to record my ps4. any other ideas?
 
Oh ok i didnt know ill test and make sure its setup properly. Do i give u the log after i test it again?
 
Restart obs before testing and give a new log
Also, crf of 9 is no benefit over crf values in the 15-18 range.
 
wow all of the pixelation is gone WOW THANKS so much you have no idea how long ive been trying to fix this myself but now their is a bit of lag like itll freeze for 1 sec then unfreeze
 
With the settings from the guide above, you can set the x264 preset to ultrafast, ignoring any warning that OBS would give you about quality.

crf-based bitrate selection will adjust the bitrate to compensate for what would otherwise be quality loss.
