How to install?
  1. Open OBS Studio main menu File>Show Settings Folder
  2. File explorer should open application's settings folder, there you need to create new folder named "themes" (if you already have one - just ignore this)...

Get ready to new OBS Studio v22.0.0 with Phos Light theme

Issued, mainly to support new OBS Studio v22.0.0 and scaled up UI on high resolution displays.
This update is compatible with the v21.0.1, so you can safely overwrite your existing Phos Light theme files right now.

Improved:
  • Support for the scaled up display interface (tested when default scale was set to 150%).
  • Resolution of the add/sub graphics elements of the QSpinboxes were changed

Bugfix update for v22.0.0

Yeah, it was unexpected for me too. But the application's UI was changed right after the release candidate 1 issued.

Update is compatible with v21.0.1, so you can safely overwrite your Phos Light theme files right now.

Fixed:
  • Color background for error message under the Settings>Audio removed.
Improved:
  • Resolution of the icons increased for the standalone dialog messages (scaled up UI improvements)

Some other minor changes.

Theme files adjusted to be compatible with v23.0.0

To update: download archive, unpack and replace all your old Phos Light theme files with newer ones.

Fixed:
  • Scroll's handle at minimum moved faster than mouse (Scroll's margins adjusted)
  • Slider's handle had small clipping when drawn (Slider's margins now expanded)
  • Collapse/Expand icon for the Group of sources was incorrectly centered for high DPI displays (default font size for internal unused element now set)

  • Labels was remain bold in Stats if parameter counter at least once triggered warning/error state.
Changed:
  • The position of the docked widgets close/float buttons now is not explicitly set (for compatibility with v23.1.0 and above, where close button is missing). Thus, it may look a bit different for...

  • Size of the Sliders reduced to not exceed actual drawing (in Advanced Audio Properties dialog height of all elements was not equal).

I will try to make update of the theme for OBS v27.0.x release (usually, up fixed versions of the application is preferable among the users), but because of the mentioned Qt bug (see above, the check marks alignment in the menu), the heavily customized theme of Phos Light will be unusable for you, my dear friends. I tried a lot of methods to workaround this eye-sorrow inconsistency in the theme - but all ended up with no luck. Some may say that the theme itself looks awful and doesn't cost efforts to support it further. I cannot disagree to this. It's not a gem. But this was most customized theme of all I ever made for the OBS. And this was truly "other" face of the program.

  • Buttons size reduced a bit.

  • New control elements from v27.0.0 (checkboxes of groupboxes, missing files dialog toolbuttons etc.).

KNOWN bug:
Menus text is not aligned, in some places only (checkable menus are shifted to the right: QTBUG-90242).

Fixed:
  • Checkable menus alignment (QTBUG-90242. Checkable menus are shifted to the right).

I forgot to add the tool buttons drawings for the Scene Collection import dialog. Fixing...

  • Added drawing to the Add/Remove tool buttons of the Scene Collection Import dialog (no pictures were set for the buttons, so they were blank).

Intermediate update of the Phos Light theme for OBS

Recent fixes, redone logic and much more. Adjusted to be "a bit more" compatible with the upcoming v28.0.0

  • Disabled text invisibility (color was the same as the list's background, thus disabled text in the lists get disappeared... completely).
