If I select the game window OBS recording performance going down and I see frame drops but if I press CTRL + Escape or click to OBS window it start working well again.

What I have to do for the best performance when the game window is active.

Could you please explain what youa re doing? I see a capture card in this scene. are you capturing another PC or a console?

second, why with such a powerful CPU are you usings NVENC?

Hi,

I'm capturing and playing games on same pc. It doesn't change when I use x264. When I click game window, OBS start performance drops but when I select or click OBS windows everything start working good again. You could see this in capture game video.

Thanks,
Mesut

Do the following:
1. Turn off your PC, remove that capture card and only use it if you have a console to capture or a gaming PC. capture cards are not for 1 PC setups and you have 1 pretty good PC so this is unneeded. Newxt uninstall the software that came with the avermedia capture card.

2. in OBS, in encoding tab of settings, change to x264. then remove all the scenes that you set up for the capture card. next add a game capture. start your game, set the game to that game capture you built in OBS. record for 5 minutes then post a link to that logfile.
