Overexposure with Logitech BRIO

My forehead looks a little like a sheet of ice, as the undermentioned depicts. Does anyone have any estimates as to why?

Disabling "Exposure, Dynamic Framerate", as the undermentioned depicts, remediated it. It was enabled by default.

"On the pole"? That's not a phrase I've heard before, and all it causes me to think of is one of those strip clubs... Can you elaborate? XD
