Bug Report Overall quality/Lagged frames

That looks pretty damn good, only way you'll get it to look even clearer is if you go 1080p and pump the bitrate up, but there's not really a need for that.

how does SR3 look? That was the game you were initially concerned about, after all

Yeah, Twitch doesn't seem to handle 1080p very well lately. Rumor has it that they are doing massive server upgrades all this weekend.

I have not tried SR3 since I reset everything to fix that error. I'm going to try Dead Island tonight and see how good I can make it look.

I'm using Gamesource capture with this. I can keep Aero on, right? The FPS definitely keeps up and I see no slowdowns on the video, which is nice. It still kind of looks like I'm looking at the game through beer goggles. It seems muddy and I've seen other streams where it looks much nicer. How can I get the quality higher?

Well, it's going to look less clear because it's not in higher resolution. However, for first person view games, you should probably set quality balance even lower, like 5 or 6. It preserves the quality of higher motion scenes.

That is definitely very watchable, though.

I mean, I'm not really doing anything special, just using the normal settings, I haven't even messed with any advanced stuff other than setting process priority to Above Normal, but that helps with framerate choppiness some and not picture quality.
