Question / Help Output to disk higher quality than stream?

I'd like to stream to Twitch and export to disk, but I'd like my export to disk be higher quality than Twitch. Does this require two instances of OBS, and would it therefore have twice the performance impact?

I'd like to archive or upload to youtube at a higher resolution & framerate than what I broadcast on twitch, possible?

It requires you to use OBS Studio instead of old obs.

You can get higher resolution and quality but not framerate (YET) with the separate settings for streaming vs recording.

Free to download? Will my settings and scenes import to Studio?
 
Free to download but the settings and scenes won't import.
Upside: the settings and scenes of old obs won't get destroyed either.
