Question / Help OS X love?

Hey OBS community. I apologize sincerely if I posted this in the wrong forum, I'm new to OBS. I currently use a MacBook Pro for my games, and it seems to work well. One question I had is, what is the news with a OS X version of OBS. I want to be able to livestream to Twitch and have the status show 'Excellent' not 'Acceptable'. Again, I am very sorry if this is a repeated question, or if it has already been announced. I sincerely do not have the competence to dig through a lot of pages in order to find the answer.

The OS X release of OBS Studio is extremely early release and lacks a lot of functions from OBS1 in it's current state. It basically captures your screen and spits out the data to Twitch, with no real customization or tweaking available at this time.
