I'm well aware I don't have an incredibly powerful rig, but I can play something like Witcher 3 for 5-6 hours with video settings that range from some options to low, others to medium, others to high with acceptable fps (admittedly its a well optimized game), without much strain on my system. However when I record (even older games like Mass Effect 2 for example) I have to do so in 1-2 hours sessions at which point i start to skip frames, stutters and all that nasty jazz.
I'm using it only for local recording, if you want to take a look at the quality so far check out any of the videos on my channel. Thats about the quality I wish to maintain, at least for now unless I can squeeze a bit more quality without a big performance hit. I'm also recording the videos on the same HDD the games are installed on ( I have only one) if that has any impact on performance.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. If theres no way to gain performance without sacrificing video quality, I'll just stick to what I'm using now.
