Only recording audio track 1

Hi there,

So I have been trying to record streams that have 3 sources of audio (my mic, discord, and the game)
I have all the the audio sources separate and can see in the mixer them working independently, and I have them on separate tracks under the advanced audio properties (everything on 1, just mic on 2, just discord on 3, and just game on 4)

I have the recording settings to record all 4 tracks but for some reason only track 1 is being recorded. When I opened the video with VLC and went through the separate channels, I could hear everything on 1, but 2,3,4 were silent. I tried just having mic on 1 and recorded and could only hear mic, and same with game.

I don't know why only track 1 is being recorded and if anyone could give me some idea I would appreciate it. Thanks ^_^

Did you actually switch VLC to audio track 2? They do not play concurrently. Think of audio tracks like the language selection on a DVD. If all of them played at once, all the languages would be talking over each other.
If you want one where you can hear all the sources simultaneously, you'll need a 'mixdown' track where all of them are selected.

If you already understand that, go to Settings->Output->Recording, and make sure that all of the audio tracks you're using are are checked there to tell OBS to actually record them (it defaults to off to save on file size for what may be blank audio tracks).
Past that, we'll need to see a screenshot of your Advanced Audio Properties to make sure the tracks are set up correctly.

Has anyone been able to find a solution to this? Same issue here:

I'm only using 2 audio tracks. 1. is my desktop audio, so basically anything that comes through my speakers, and 2. My mic.

I've enabled both 1 and 2 audio tracks in Settings->Output->Recording, I've marked them in the Advanced Properties window, my output is MKV, and I have no clue why it's only capturing what's set to track 1. I've attached screenshots that I'm hoping help but am willing to provide whatever is needed for a solution.

If it's worth noting, I've manually selected 'Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)' for my desktop audio as my PC has a habit of using my Oculus headset for audio from time to time, even when it's not in use, so using 'Default' can be a 50/50 chance.

Also, I don't use VLC. I use WMP just because it's what I'm familiar with. I don't think that would cause issues but might be worth noting.
