Question / Help only display capture works, black/grey screens otherwise

Hello. I've searched internet and tried several things, but still can't make it work. I would preferably like to use gamecapure, but this shows black or grey screen. What somewhat worked so far is display capture. Without display capture I was also able to capture browser window, but not any other window, like chat or explorer, let alone game. Initially I intend to stream/record League of Legends and some other low requirements games.

I'd be happy to at least get this fixed, and then the further recommendations would also be very helpful.

oh, that makes very much more sense.
this is the first, biggest log from my first run where I've been poking things around the most.

I somewhat resolved the issue by logging into the irc chat https://obsproject.com/chat and got some quick help - to run League of Legends via old client since apparently that one doesn't have hardware acceleration which supposedly causes the issue for OBS. Many other applications would only work as display capture.

If this is the same issue I had, Black screen on 'Game Capture' ?

Turn off AA (Antialiasing), I just stumbled across this, and its now working.

Its either a fault with the game client, or OBS has an issue with capturing games running AA.
