Question / Help Older game help

Trying to stream an older game (Wizardry 8..DX7/Glide and NO Windowed Mode). Obviously I have to use monitor capture for this. However the game only shows up in the top left corner of the screen. How can i, or is it possible to adjust the size so that the game streams in a larger box? I've tried setting the regional selection to the entire screen of the monitor but it only displays the box in the corner and any other windows/wallpaper for the rest of the viewing area.

If you need to crop you can do it via holding alt while in "edit scene" mode and clicking on the edges of the source, though you shouldn't need to for this game, I'd probably have to see a screenshot of the problem.

Thanks Jim, problem is I cannot access the OBS panel when the game is running as it dosnt run in a windowed mode at all. So when I tab over to try and edit anything I lose the capture. Also cannot use any of the hotkeys when the game is running. Best resolution on the game is 800x600 I believe. May be why its only showing as a panel in the corner of the capture window even tho im using monitor capture and the game appears fullscreen on my main monitor. Im very new to using this proggie so it may just be somthing I dont know how to edit or configure

May I see a screenshot of what the game looks like when recorded?

Well I actually have the game (one of my favorites) and I installed/tested it to see what you were talking about and it's simply because the game's resolution is so low. The only thing you can really do is try stretching the monitor capture source or something. It seems to have an opengl mode which would work with game capture, but it didn't seem to work. Not sure what else to suggest though. If you can get that opengl mode working that should make it work with game capture.

I just discovered how to make it run in a windowed mode. You run in D3D7 mode, then when in-game (not at the menus but walking around), you press Ctrl-F12. I found this just by using an internet search engine. You can then resize the window pretty big. After that just capture it with window capture. Note however you have to do this every time you play the game though.
