hey there, anyone know of the best/ easiest way of getting NES/ SNES etc. console footage to OBS (Without using an emulator). huge thanks.
 
Capture card. Depending on your budget, you could go for the Easycap ($8 on Amazon) which looks like crap but does get the video in... mostly, or the SC-512N1-L/DVI ($200) which looks incredible and can take any input from 240i for NES era, all the way to 1080p@60.
 
Personally I recommend the AVerMedia c039 for standard definition capturing. It has good quality (for SD), has good drivers, p;lay swell with OBS, runs well over USB 2.0, only costs around $40.
