So lately I've been playing around with obs' streaming and local recording. Everytime I record locally or stream I seem to be getting these random *frame drops* like from 200 frames down to 20 for maybe 10-15 seconds and than it recovers. This happens locally and while streaming. I have played with it in 1080p recording and 720p recording and it does the same thing. I'm running and fx-8350 oc to 4.6 Ghz. Sli gtx 960's and I have extremely fast WiFi at 500mbps down and 500 mbps up. If anyone is or was having this problem and have found a fix for it could please comment it would help so much!
I have the max bitrate at 3500 currently along with the buffer. I'm unsure why it is doing this cause my pc can very well handle it.
