Question / Help OBS64.exe has stopped working

I am using Win 10 OS64
Having updated to OBS Solution 21.1.2 and used it on August 1, 2018. Sometime thereafter, I downloaded VLC installer 64. I am now unable to use it again because of a "Problem". This is the popup

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

This is the log file

You either connect through rdp to your machine, or do not have any video driver installed.

If you connected through rdp (Remote Desktop Connection): don't use rdp. The emulated GPU in the rdp session is not supported by OBS and is lacking features, and the CPU utilization for the emulation is insanely high.

If you are not connected remotely: install the video driver for your GPU.

Greetings koala,
Thanks for the quick response. I am not using remote connection and I update my GPU driver (Geforce 9400 GT.

I restarted the desktop and launched OBS, but the same problem reoccurred with same popup

This card is rather old. It may be that it is one of the oldest cards that supports OBS. Be aware that it is not supported by the current nvidia video drivers. You need to obtain the appropriate latest legacy driver for this series 9 card, which is 342.01 from 2016.12.14. In the nvidia driver download page, choose Geforce 9 Series to find it.
