If you get an error that says "Could not initialize DirectX 10 on [your GPU]", then your graphics card does not have sufficient support for DirectX 10. It does not matter if you have newer versions of DirectX software installed; your hardware does not support the necessary features. You can try upgrading your GPU, or try the test OBS Multiplatform release: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/23342/

Your GPU is too old. Are you using a laptop? If not you could possibly buy an upgrade. If you are using a laptop, then you're probably out of luck.

yeah I'm using a laptop. . and my job really kinda requires me to screen capture using obs project for my online lessons with my students. Is there anyway I could still use OBS though I'm using a laptop?

OBS requires DirectX 10 support. If your laptop's GPU doesn't support DirectX 10, then I don't see any workarounds being possible with OBS. Maybe some other software like Camtasia.

Edit: Does multiplatform not require DirectX 10?

I actually kinda downloaded directx 11 and it works here at my laptop but still I receive the same error. .Damn this is making me crazy. .

BTW may I ask about Camtasia is not spacious? cause I conduct lessons 8 hours a day one student for each half an hour and I need to record all this lessons. . thanks in advance.

Edit: Does multiplatform not require DirectX 10?
OBS MP supports both DirectX and OpenGL as renderers. However, it seems that exist's GPU does not support the necessary OpenGL features either.

exist, you cannot use OBS not OBS MP with your computer at all.
