Question / Help OBS won't record video?

Hi there,
I have set up OBS to record and it displays the game in the preview window. However when I go to watch the recorded video I only hear audio in the mp4 file and no video. This is my first time using OBS so I am new to this. Help is much appreciated :)
 
Are you playing the file back in Windows Media Player? It's a common issue that Media Player doesn't properly read OBS videos, you should use VLC instead.
